Companion tool for TWRP
Designed as a companion tool for Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP), the Official TWRP App helps you stay up to date with the main app’s latest version and notifies you of all the available updates. While the free-to-use app doesn’t require device rooting, doing so will unlock the image-flashing feature.
Get notified about new app versions
TWRP, on the other hand, is a recovery program that enables users to bring back files they’ve deleted accidentally. In particular, Official TWRP App is a companion tool that updates users whenever there’s a new version of the program — so, basically, there’s really not much need for it.
Still, it still boasts a straightforward and neat user interface. You can set the day intervals at which it will look for new TWRP updates and you can then download the updates through the app itself when there are any — no need to switch applications just for an update.
No other practical use
Overall, Official TWRP App may only be of use to you if you already have the main TWRP program downloaded and would like to stay in the loop about its version updates. You can then directly install any new update detected by the app.
